1. Purpose and scope

yuKast has zero tolerance for the sexual abuse and exploitation of children (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, CSAE) — neither as content nor as behavior. This page publicly states which standards apply, how to report violations, and how we respond. It supplements our Terms of Use and applies to all users of the yuKast app.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are prohibited in particular: - any depiction of the sexual abuse of minors (CSAM) as well as any sexually exploitative depiction of minors, regardless of format (photo, video, AI-generated, drawn); - grooming — deliberately approaching minors with the goal of sexual exploitation; - sextortion — extortion using actual or fabricated intimate material of minors; - offering, promoting, linking to, or requesting CSAM or related "services"; - any attempt to contact, identify, or meet children for sexual purposes.

These prohibitions are part of our Terms of Use (§4, "no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users") and result in immediate account suspension — independent of any other measures.

3. Reporting

You can report content and conduct at any time: - In the app: Open the "…" menu on the relevant post or profile and select Report. - By email: [email protected]

We prioritize and act immediately on reports involving suspected CSAE.

4. How yuKast responds

• Automated screening: Every uploaded photo or video goes through automated AI analysis before publication, which screens, among other things, for suspected depictions of minors.
• Immediate action: Suspicious content is instantly hidden from all users — including the uploader — and isolated in a protected review queue (quarantine). Affected accounts are suspended by our moderation team.
• Reporting to authorities: We promptly report confirmed or reasonably suspected cases to the competent authorities as required by law — for Switzerland to fedpol/KOBIK, additionally internationally to NCMEC, and, where there is a link to Germany, to the BKA.
• Evidence preservation: Reported material is not further distributed, not used for internal or training purposes, and is retained solely for handover to the competent authorities for the legally required duration; it is deleted afterward.

6. Legal basis and minimum age

We act in accordance with the Swiss Criminal Code (in particular Art. 197 StGB, pornography including depictions of minors) as well as — insofar as the app also reaches users in the EU/Germany — the child protection provisions applicable there. The minimum age for a yuKast account is 16 years (see Terms of Use, §2).
